Good morning all. God is good all the time, all the time God is good.
HE HAS RISEN, INDEED, HE HAS RISEN!!
We may ask who is the wisest man in the world? The natural answer is Solomon, King David's son. There is a difference between wisdom and being intelligent.
Solomon was wise and probably best known for the 2 women who claimed the baby was theirs. When he said take a sword and cut the baby in to 2 pieces, the real mother did not want to see the baby killed and said to give it to the other.
Solomon was very wise, however, the lust of the world became his downfall. He married other women of royalty from other countries to make ties, HOWEVER, he started allowing them to bring their false gods in and Solomon even started building places for them to worship.
All this led to his falling away from God, allowing false idols to come into the kingdom. How often do we do this in our lives?
In 1 Kings 3 Solomon asked for wisdom and God lengthened his days. It is a good read, click here.
My prayer for all of us is that we continue to follow God, when we sin ask forgiveness, and continue to follow and share the word of God's great grace and love.
