Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain?

 Good morning and God morning to you all.  God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO COMPLAIN!

  If you look around and see what is going on in the world you begin to wonder why so many people in so many countries hate 2 countries:  USA and Israel.

   Now why would this be so?  Well, in my opinion, first comes Israel which is the holding land for GOD's people; then comes America, which was based and built by our forefathers on trusting God.  So, we have 2 nations, hated by others, yet still exist. Hmmm!

  After 9 - 11 America turned to the church and God; however, as so often with the children of Israel, God was soon forgotten, people went about their business as usual, and God was pushed back.  The presidential cabinet in 2008 helped in demeaning America and pushing back from God as well as turning away from situations in Israel.  This started a turning in America.

  Then in the 2016 elections we began to see HATE run rampant across America, BUT, many other nations did quiet down, even though they still wanted to see Israel and America broke down.  So, in saying this let us look at Psalms 2: 1-3---- 1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people devise a vain thing? 2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying, 3 “Let us break Their bonds asunder, and cast away Their cords from us.”

   It is believed that David composed this Psalm after he conquered Jerusalem from the Jebusites and set up his kingdom. The Philistines and other warlike people camped close to Jerusalem in the valley of Rephaim.  What is their goal? What is satans goal? To kill, steal, and destroy! 

  What does verse 3 mean?  break their bonds asunder and cast away their cords from us?  These people, the ungodly, the heathen, want to break away from anything related to our Living GOD.  They would rather worship man or man-made idols than the true living God.  Yet, they did maintain a fear.  They were boastful yet cautious at the same time.  Obviously they had either seen or heard stories of what power God's people had and who they had conquered, thus moving forward with steps of caution.

   How does this relate to America today?  To you today?  To the world today?  I would enjoy hearing your response.  As the song goes by David Crowder:

Blessed is the man......Psalms 1

 Good morning all. God is good all the time, all the time God is good.  TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!!!

   Doubt, Fear, Confusion, Drama, Turmoil, and other elements tend to cause us to question or stumble in our walk with the LORD.  Even question if you are really saved by Christ or not.  A wise woman (my wife) told me that is just satan causing havoc in our lives.  This is so true.  It is important we remember what King David says in Psalms 1: 1Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers.  2But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.  3He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.

  Here we read that we are BLESSED if we do not walk with the wicked or participate in the ways of the wicked.  Our joy comes in the LORD and we should meditate on him day and night.  We should yield "fruit" for the LORD and stand firm in our belief and faithfulness to GOD.

  4 Not so the wicked!  They are like chaff that the wind blows away.  5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.  6 For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.

  People living in sin will go from bad to worse.  Look around, you can see this now in the USA and the world.  Note, they are like chaff and WILL NOT STAND IN THE JUDGMENT.  This says a lot.  They may make a fuss and, if you will, "stand tall" now, but in the end they will not be able to stand for the judgment of GOD.

    Verse  6 says a lot:  FOR THE LORD WATCHES OVER THE WAY OF THE RIGHTEOUS - this is our hope, faith, and belief.  THEN: but the way of the wicked will perish.

  There is a light at the end of the tunnel.  Darkness cannot stand where light shines.  You, me, family and friends - saved by Jesus Christ - need to be the LIGHT SHINING BRIGHTLY AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL.  Our reward is heavenly, it is out of this world, and imaginations can't even comprehend what it will be like when we are with our heavenly Father.

Turn your eyes to GOD! 2 Chronicles 20:12b

 

Good morning all. God is good all the time, all the time God is good.  HE is good, HE is GOD,  HE is GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY!!!!

  In today's world we look around, as Christian, so often with disgust at what is happening in the United States of America and the world.  So often we feel like King Jehoshaphat when the enemy army was bearing down on them.  Do you run, do you surrender, do you plead for mercy, just what do you do?  They were in a desperate situation as we seem to be moving in the same direction in America.

  It is at times like this, times of desperation we need to have dependence on God, trusting HIM and do this all with great humility.  So?????? How do we do this?

  Maybe take lessons from King Jehoshaphat by fasting, praying, and calling out to God.  2 Chronicles 20:12b  For we are powerless against this great horde that is coming against us.  We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you (GOD).

  We can speak to the LORD and share with HIM:  O. LORD, I have no power to solve this.  I am at a loss of what to do but I will turn my eyes upon you.  Thank you Jesus.

If your child said, I am a............... - what would you do?

 Good morning all. God is good all the time, all the time God is good.  REMEMBER YOU ARE BLESSED TO BE A CHILD OF GOD!!!!

   As Christians we are to respond with love and letting the Holy Spirit lead.  Now this does not mean to be a "melba milktoast", stand firm but respond in love.

   Okay, what would you do if your son or daughter came in and said they planned to change their sex.  You know-male to female or female to male.  This is a tough message to be given.  Would you respond in rage?  Would you respond by being silent?  Would you respond in Christian love?  How would you respond?

  Yes, we won't know unless we experience that situation.  However, we need to be aware it may not be a son or daughter; it may be a friend, a spouse, a neighbor, or a friend of a friend.  As Christians we disagree with this liberal idea being pushed in societies; BUT, we need to pray about our decision and let the Holy Spirit lead us in our reaction, our words, and our attitude.  So what does the Bible say?

  Genesis 1: ²⁷ So God created mankind in his own image,
    in the image of God he created them;
    male and female he created them.

So God created male and female and told them to go forth and multiply.  What about transgender.  Deuteronomy 22: ⁵ A woman must not wear men’s clothing, nor a man wear women’s clothing, for the Lord your God detests anyone who does this.

Jesus said this in  Matthew 19:

⁴ “Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ ⁵ and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? ⁶ So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”

Jesus says this in Matthew 22:37 Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.  This is the first and greatest commandment.  And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.:

 We may experience anger, frustration, confusion, mental turmoil and anguish.  We should be quick to hear and slow to anger and not lash out in vicious anger.  Take time to digest, pray, and leave this all in the hands of the LORD. 

  Let the Holy Spirit lead. Love you all.

What would/will/do you give up for JESUS CHRIST?

 Hello All!  God is good all the time, all the time God is good.  TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!!!!

   Upon reading that great news media - FACEBOOK - of which we KNOW tells the truth.  LOL  :)  Any way, on facebook it reads would you give up alcohol forever for 3 billion dollars.  Well, many people would and will work to keep that money.

  However, here is my question to you all:  Would you give up:  alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, cursing, or any other vice FOR JESUS CHRIST.

   Yes, you may solve some problems with 3 billion dollars, but when you die------ what then?  Heaven or hell?  I will step out and say that if someone could leap out and get the 3 billion (if that was reality), I would imagine Salvation and Jesus Christ would be far from their minds.

   We can't live to serve 2 masters - it is either God or the world. The choice is simple; the follow through is tough.

                      Now, to change thoughts:

   You have heard of the movie blackhawk down - based on a true story of trying to save American soldiers from the Somalian militia.  I listened to the story today from the sergeant, a ranger, who was involved in the mission and knows what a fight for life is all about.  His faith in Jesus Christ made a difference in his life and the men he commanded.  He stated they were outnumbered as the Somalians had a 10,000 man militia, far outnumbering the American rangers.  He expected they would die, but God intervened and he stated he felt a peace and when speaking to his men, they saw calmness in his voice.  The only way he can explain their surviving is by God's intervention. 

  Later the men came to him and asked what he had and they wanted it.  Many men were led to the LORD through his testimony.  He was in a fight for his life; something none of us will experience.  He firmly believes he, and the ones who survived did so because of God being there with them.

  But we do have an enemy that comes to kill, deceive and destroy and his name is satan.  So what do we do?  Get 3 billion dollars and isolate ourselves, OR, turn to the only one who gives us life after death?
