"OOPS" said God NEVER!!!

Good morning all. God is good all the time, all the time God is good.  TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!!!!
Oh, what a world we live in today, in the 21st century, where many thought live would be better.  And to some it is. You can lock your doors at home or in your car with your phone.  You can turn on or off lights at home with your phone. You can start your car without being in it. You can start your coffee pot or tea maker with your phone.  Drones that can take pictures almost anywhere; see earth's landscapes perfectly from above and never leave your home.
Oh, yes, past futuristic movies envisioned this and it all looked so great.  But wait, there is still the human element involved that can take something that is positive and turn it into a negative.  Why?  Because evil lurks around every corner.
When God created man, he was perfect.  Next came woman, and now the two are perfect human beings living in a perfect world.  Yes, perfect world except for one little thing - the fallen angels led by an angel who wanted to be god.
Now comes the fall of man. From living as a perfect person in a perfect world with a perfect God to a sinful man living in a world filled with the possibilities of evil hanging in the air.
So, is this God's "Oops"?  No, not at all. We were created in the image of God, BUT, God did not want "puppets" that did and said exactly the right thing.  God gave man "choice" to choose.  We are allowed to choose good from bad; right from wrong.  The problem is too many things in the world look appealing or tempting and we have a tendency to fall for the "material" things of this world.
Well, what about the child that is aborted, the child with down's syndrome, the child with cancer, and on and on.  If God is so good what do things like this happen.  Wait, God created man to worship him, to commune with him, and we are here to bring glory to God.  These people, children and adults, are they "OOPS" that God made?
Not at all.  In Isaiah 43 (1-7) God says do not fear, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
Here are some more verses to consider: Ephesians 2:10 - For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Romans 11:36 - For of him, and through him, and to him, [are] all things: to whom [be] glory for ever. Amen.
1 Peter 5:6-7 - Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

Did God make an "OOPS"?  I think not.  We are his workmanship and we need to remember that.

Just a P.S. If a doctor says oops you need to worry; if a house mover says oops, you need to worry; if you hear oops somewhere there may be a need to worry.  But, with God you will never hear "OOPS" nor have to worry!

Thanks for reading.  Love you all.

Is your fire for Jesus gone? simmered? dwindling?

Good morning everyone!  God is good all the time, all the time God is good.  TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!!!!
Yes, you are indeed blessed!  Why?  Because you are a child of GOD, the LIVING GOD!!!
Okay, if you go to a concert of some of your favorite musical artists you come away with something.  That something usually is excitement, energy, and really pumped up to do another concert AND tell others about what you just saw, heard and witnessed.
Well, someone may have seen the same concert on tv, have enjoyed it, and may tell others about the concert and what they saw and heard.  BUT, will that person have the same excitement, drive, energy to go out and tell others?  Probably now.  It is a different experience when you have experienced it in person.
Well, the disciples who were with Jesus were different in Acts than they were in the original gospels.  What, no they were not!  They were the same people.  Yes, their body was the same, but their spirit, energy, and desire to spread the word had been greatly enhanced through the crucifixion.
In Acts you will see the passion of the disciples has changed; it is more intense.  Peter, who denied Jesus 3 times became very BOLD and went forth with the WORD.  The disciples had questioned, wondered and sometimes argued with Jesus.  Feed of the 5,000 plus - how can we feed these people?  Look at the cost, the money it would take; - yet Jesus took bread and fish and served thousands.  Yes, after Jesus was crucified the disciples experienced something they did not expect and their PASSION was not just kindled, but exploded with fire, energy, and dedication.
Can you say that about your love of Jesus.  Yes, the head knowledge tells me I love Jesus; the words come out of my mouth that I love Jesus; BUT, where is my fire?  Where is my passion?  Remember when you were first saved?  Man, you were on fire for Christ!!
Well, what happened?  Yes, we let, let's emphasize WE LET  life take us away from what is really important.  Oh, yeah, but I have bills, work around the house, my job, my family, and on and on.  Excuses are like navels, there is a hole, it has lent in it, and it stinks.
We sit on the couch----oh, I am really tired, yep, I should read my Bible or pray but I am too tired.  WHAT?  Who is your strength.  Get up off you lazy tail feathers and read the Bible, pray, do something to revitalize you passion for Christ.
Jesus had passion and love for you; HE DIED ON THE CROSS SO THAT YOU MAY BE SAVED!!!  And what do we do, what do you do?  Make excuses!
It is time!  Go to knee mail, read your Bible, and rekindle that fire, that passion for JESUS CHRIST OUR SAVIOR!!
Thanks for reading.  You got this twice as I hit the wrong key earlier and sent prior to closing. Love you all.

Is God sovereign? Is Jesus real?

Good evening all. God is good all the time, all the time God is good. ARE YOU BLESSED?

My daughter told me about American Gospel on Netflix which is extremely good.  It talks about all the false prophets in the pulpits teaching prosperity, wealth, material thinks.  And why?  Because it is a "feel good" sermon.

Wait!!  What about Jesus.  Oh, yes, he gets mentioned in the context of their "speech"; but, is Jesus taught?  Is Jesus taught that HE was a real man, who came on earth and died for our sins?  Hmmmm!

Is God sovereign?  If you look up sovereign in the dictionary you will have to say YES, HE IS, but only if you are a believer.  The doubters will say if he is in control then why did HE let the COVID-19 happen?  Why do bad things happen to good people?  Oh, wait---GOOD PEOPLE!

Check your Bible, only God is  good.  Even Jesus said this.  Many people think they will go to heaven because they are "spiritual" and basically a "good" person.  As a Christian I cannot find that in the Bible.  Oh, maybe in Jude chapter 2 it might say "If you don't accept Jesus as savior, BUT, you are a good person you can still go to heaven.  Riiiight!!!

We have come so far away from the Biblical truths it is actually scary in one sense, then encouraging in another sense meaning we are closer to Jesus' return.

All lives matter - and we should be sharing the Gospel to save people from HELL!!
This Sunday, take time to really listen to your pastor, your SS teacher, and see if you hear about Jesus.  Do you hear the "good news", the "Prosperity" sermon or the real gospel of Jesus Christ?  Thanks for listening. Love you all.

Did you know....... or Do you know.....?

Good morning everyone. God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!!!
Did you know...... or maybe Do you know?   A lot of things that we think we know, yet in truth we really don't know.  For example: God helps those who help themselves.  Why, that is in the Bible.  Yeah!  Just try to find it.  Nope, it is not in the Bible but a phrase often used.
Here is something that came to me, and you probably had already thought of it or knew it.  In the Bible we are told Jesus knows us by name:

Jeremiah 1:5  “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”

John 10:14-15  I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep.

John 10:3 To him the gatekeeper opens. The sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.

Also, what I wanted to point out is that Jesus knew the name of the demons, he had known them in heaven before the fall.  Let us look at Luke 4:41 41 Moreover, demons came out of many people, shouting, “You are the Son of God!” But he rebuked them and would not allow them to speak, because they knew he was the Messiah.

Jesus knows the name of the demons, he knows our name, he knew us before we were formed, we are HIS sheep and recognize HIS voice.

Do not forget you are blessed as you know Jesus and are a child of God.  Just did you know food for thought. Love you all.

A couple of "deep" thoughts to consider Hebrews 11/Matthew 13

Good morning all. God is good all the time, all the time God is good. BLESSED, Lest we forget!  Remember, YOU ARE BLESSED!!!!
I would like to take this time to share a couple of scriptures that reached out to me once again.  Yes, you have read them, but so often we read them again and a new light is shed on the meaning.
F A I T H -Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Take a moment to meditate on this. Faith - substance of things hoped for------Our vision gives us evidence of what is in the world; however, FAITH- is the "sense" of the invisible,  the spiritual world.  Faith is a willingness to believe in, trust in, and rely on something.  Example: have you "seen" God?  No, but our faith tells us there is a living God.
Something to ponder.  Let me move on to Matthew 13:24- 30 The parable of the weeds.  The good seeds were planted, then during the night the enemy came and planted weeds among the good seeds.  As they began to grow you did not really see a difference.
Then, as they grew stronger the weeds were intermingled with the wheat.  The servants asked the master do we pull out the weeds.  The answer was NO, as it would uproot the good while taking the bad. So what do we do?
The masters answer: 30 Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.’”
Can you see the parallel here where Jesus said HE was going to prepare us a place?  We are the wheat to be taken into the barn.
The weeds will be what?  Burned!!  Satan and his disciples (demons) will be sent to burn in hell.  Yet we all grow together and our job, our command, our obligation from Jesus Christ is to spread the gospel.  The hardest is to family and close friends.
However, if we don't we are allowing them to walk the path to hell.  Jesus spoke to a lot of people and these people had different reasons to follow.  Some to see miracles, some just groupies, and some who were true disciples.  Jesus chose 12, one of which he knew was a weed, yet he allowed him to be part of the disciples.
We, you and I, walk daily in a land that is moving stronger and stronger to the Judas side of life.  We, you and I, need to be strong in our faith, be the wheat that grows tall and strong in order to withstand the tear down of the weeds.
Stand up my friend, be counted as not one of the weeds, but as the strong wheat to produce seeds to carry the work of Jesus Christ our Saviour and LORD!
Thank you for reading. Love you all

F O C U S

Good morning all. God is good all the time, all the time God is good.  TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!
FOCUS - This is what we all need to do.  Evil is alive and well and roaming the earth seeking to plunder, maime, and destroy.  COVID-19 has people walking and hiding in fear.  Why?  We are to fear only GOD.  Being cautious and use common sense---yes.  But running in fear - NO!!
The George Floyd scene is tragic.  Peaceful demonstrations are priviledges of living in America.  Looting and destroying property is a crime.  The media thrives on the disruption of our daily lives with news of tragedy.  The George Floyd incident was bad and turned into a racial item.  In Kiowa County, in the state of Colorado, a white man was shot 3 times in the back by a white cop and there appeared to be no justified reason for this.  The young man died and the cops are on administrative leave.  Prosecuted?  No, not yet.  Why? BUT, did you hear about this in the news?  NO!
WHY?  Because no one was there with a phone and videoing the situation. I am not supporting what has happened with Floyd; what I am trying to say is, again, the media likes to disrupt our lives.  What we all should be doing is praying for the Floyd family, praying for the police that were involved, and praying that America will once again turn to God.
GOD HEARS THE PRAYERS OF THE RIGHTEOUS!  Let us be the ones in the fore front leading others to CHRIST by our actions, our humility, and our devotion to GOD.  With all that is going on remember the following scripture:
1 Peter 3:12 - "For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil."
Thank you for reading and may your day be safe and blessed. Love you all.
