Know when to hold 'em; know when to fold 'em! Acts 14:5-10

Good morning all.  God is good all the time, all the time God is good.  TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!!!
Well, it is a great day to be alive in the LORD JESUS CHRIST!  If you recall at last setting some Debbie Downers were stirring up trouble against Paul and Barnabas and starting to riot.  Let's look in and see what happened?
Acts 14: And when there was an assault made both of the Gentiles, and also of the Jews with their rulers, to use them despitefully, and to stone them,
These "ugly's" came against the people who were accepting the gospel and wanting to punish them, even stone them.  Satin was definitely moving in the mob.
Paul and Barnabas, being aware of this situation knew it was time to move on in preaching the gospel.  This missionary team then left and went into Lystra and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia. Here they once again preached the gospel.
They were ware of it, and fled unto Lystra and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia, and unto the region that lieth round about:
And there they preached the gospel.
Upon arriving at Lystra then encountered a man who had been crippled and had never, note NEVER WALKED.  So what happened here?  Well, God is leading these men and what is impossible for man is normal for God.  And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's womb, who never had walked:
Now there is about to be a miracle happen.  Have you noticed when miracles happen they come at a time which will bring GLORY TO GOD?  This is what we should be doing daily- doing something to bring glory to God!!!  This crippled man was hearing the word preached, but not only hearing the word but believing the word and having faith.  This is lacking in many of us - the lip service is good, but the faith is weak.  Look at Acts 14: The same (crippled man) heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,
Okay, the Holy Spirit is speaking the Paul now and he perceives the crippled man has faith, so, what happens now?  Acts 14:10 Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.
Amazing for many, normal for God.  So when the people witnessed this and heard of this they were overjoyed.  But, Paul and Barnabas, were........well, let's get into this tomorrow.  Love you all. Thank you for reading.
In Christ's Love and Grace
Johnny
