Job 10-20 Are you, as a friend, encouraging or discouraging?

Good morning all.  God is good all the time, all the time God is good.  YOU ARE BLESSED----YOU ARE A CHILD OF THE LIVING GOD!!!!!
Prayers please, for friends, family, nation and world as we travel through this fear of COVID and time where everything is free by our politicians.  Thank you.
Okay, since I have started reading the Bible, chronologically, and am in Job; which started me thinking.  A question for me and for you: Are you encouraging or discouraging?  When you say something to someone do you stop and think about the "after effects" of what you are about to say?
Job, a man struck with disaster, has 3 friends come to "encourage" him; a wife to "encourage" him, yet none of that happens.
His wife says curse God and die.  His friends say you did sinful things, we know, just look at you and what has happened.
How often we are judgmental toward others; whether it be jokingly or sincerely and what or how may it damage the other person.  Do we stop and think.  Little words can cause damamge, like: stupid, dummy, idiot, fatty, or possibly phrases such as: are you going to wear that?  have you look in the mirror?  what were you thinking?
My prayer for me is to be the kind of husband, father, and friend that is encouraging and understanding.  Often our best help is to be silent and just sit or cry with someone -- no words -- just action.
So that is my thoughts for today.  Pray for me as I for you.  Love you all.
In Christ's Love and Grace
Johnny
