Good morning all. God is good all the time, all the time God is good. YES, HE HAS RISEN, INDEED!!!!
Instead of WWJD, we should incorporate WWW into our lives. So often we say What Would Jesus Do, however, if we WWW, Worship, Word, Witness we will know what Jesus would do.
Huh? Explain yourself. Okay, here goes. Too often we are theatre goers. Sunday we go to church, we hear the preacher, then, MAYBE go to Sunday School (depends on how we feel and what is going on). That is what we do when go to a movie. We may talk about it (sermon) or maybe not. Sometimes we critique the sermon; you know, well I liked what the preacher said about XYZ, but not sure about ABC. Huh?
We need to WORSHIP, go to be in the presence of the Holy Spirit, of God, and absorb the word being shared. Then we need to get into the WORD, and compare what the preacher shared and study for ourselves. Then we need to WITNESS, go tell others about Jesus and what HE did in your life and how HE can work in their life. Oh, but I don't witness, it is hard for me to just talk to people.
You don't need to seek out, the Holy Spirit will lead you and you just need to follow HIS lead. If you don't share then you need to re-read what Jesus said:
Matthew 28: 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you.
The Jordan River runs into the Dead Sea, however, the Dead Sea goes nowhere, it becomes stagnant. Are you stagnant? Does the word come into you, yet you keep it within, or just within your inner circle and share not with the nations, with others?
For a body of water not to be stagnant it has to be fed fresh water, then let water out into another stream or body of water. We, in our Christian life, are the same way; the word comes in and we need to share it with others, approach the unapproachable, the unbeliever, the stranger on the street.
Thank you for reading with me today. Love you all.
In Christ's Love and Grace
Johnny
