Do you think about how to pray? Jesus taught us!!

Good morning all. God is good all the time, all the time God is good.  So, when you think things are bad, they could be worse.  Take time with God; share what is on your heart - HE already knows, but you may need to confess it.
Often we pray and do not think about what we are praying about - i.e. it becomes a ritual.  Guilty, yes, guilty! Don't babble on or pray where others will see you and say oh, what a man of God he/she must be.
Jesus gave us a way to pray, but change it up slightly.  Here is what Jesus said first:  Matthew 6: “And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
Here is where to change it slightly:  Matthew 6: After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give me, Johnny, this day my daily bread.
12 And forgive me my debts, as I forgive my debtors.
13 And lead me not into temptation, but deliver  me from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Make it personal to you and BELIEVE WHAT YOU ARE SAYING!!!
Thank you for reading today. God's blessings on you all. Love y'all!
In Christ's Love and Grace
Johnny
