Are you abiding in Christ? What does ABIDING in CHRIST really mean?

 Good morning everyone!  God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!!!

   Today, as I often wonder where I am in Christ I find John 15 with the first few verses that we will look at together.  The question:  Are you abiding in Christ?  What does ABIDING in CHRIST really mean?  Well, let's look at these verses now.

  “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.

Jesus is saying HE is the true vine, meaning the life line to any fruit that may come about.  my Father (GOD) is the gardener who cares for the vine and does prune it as necessary.

 2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. Here Jesus is saying that a branch that is not bringing forth fruit is taking away from the branches that do produce fruit, therefore, they will be pruned or cut off.  These are people who appear to be disciples of Christ, yet bear no fruit. But, we pruned ones will do even more.

 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.  Here, you, me, - we are clean - the WORD is powerful and what Jesus gave us is powerful.  God spoke the universe into being---HE spoke it, did not create it with his hands, saw, materials---HE SPOKE IT!

4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.  If we are in Christ, then we are a branch that is bearing fruit; BUT , we cannot bear fruit by ourselves--we have to have the vine to give us the energy, the power, the supplements to produce fruit.

5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.  The self made man is only kidding himself - it is God, Jesus, that makes us who we are.  If we remain in Christ the fruits of our labor will be seen.  I, myself, am nothing without Jesus Christ.

 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.  If a branch remains but does not remain in Jesus Christ then that branch will be severed from the vine, it will wither and then burned by fire. 

 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is a truth, however, many take if out of context. If HIS words remain in you, me, then when we ask it will be done.  This means what will be done?  Keep in mind the phrase "my words remain in you" and you will understand this means within God's will and also bring glory to God.  So, don't stand on the corner and say it is God's will you win the multi-million dollar lottery - it ain't gonna happen my friend.  

8 This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.  It is important that God receives the glory, by doing so we (you and I) will bear much fruit - show people the way to eternal life,- and we will be good disciples of Jesus Christ, of God, of our Father in Heaven.

Envy! Frustration! Strife! Does it eat at you often? Listen to Asaph

 Good morning all. God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO COMPLAIN!!!

   Today, in the world we live in it is so easy to be able to sit back in our chair and complain.  Complain about the election, the covid, the violence in the world, the total unrest of America.

   Then we sit back and look and say, "well, look at ole "xyz", he doesn't follow God and his life is so easy.  He continues to prosper while I struggle.  That just is not fair.  Why doesn't God make this right?"

   Well, that is somewhat the way Asaph felt in Psalms 73.  Here, let's read a moment.  This is a rather long read, but take time to see what Asaph is saying and reread the last part for your assurance in God.  Thanks for reading. Love you all.

A psalm of Asaph.

1 Surely God is good to Israel,
    to those who are pure in heart.

2 But as for me, my feet had almost slipped;
    I had nearly lost my foothold.
3 For I envied the arrogant
    when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.

4 They have no struggles;
    their bodies are healthy and strong.[a]
5 They are free from common human burdens;
    they are not plagued by human ills.
6 Therefore pride is their necklace;
    they clothe themselves with violence.
7 From their callous hearts comes iniquity[b];
    their evil imaginations have no limits.
8 They scoff, and speak with malice;
    with arrogance they threaten oppression.
9 Their mouths lay claim to heaven,
    and their tongues take possession of the earth.
10 Therefore their people turn to them
    and drink up waters in abundance.[c]
11 They say, “How would God know?
    Does the Most High know anything?”

12 This is what the wicked are like—
    always free of care, they go on amassing wealth.

13 Surely in vain I have kept my heart pure
    and have washed my hands in innocence.
14 All day long I have been afflicted,
    and every morning brings new punishments.

15 If I had spoken out like that,
    I would have betrayed your children.
16 When I tried to understand all this,
    it troubled me deeply
17 till I entered the sanctuary of God;
    then I understood their final destiny.

18 Surely you place them on slippery ground;
    you cast them down to ruin.
19 How suddenly are they destroyed,
    completely swept away by terrors!
20 They are like a dream when one awakes;
    when you arise, Lord,
    you will despise them as fantasies.

21 When my heart was grieved
    and my spirit embittered,
22 I was senseless and ignorant;
    I was a brute beast before you.

23 Yet I am always with you;
    you hold me by my right hand.
24 You guide me with your counsel,
    and afterward you will take me into glory.
25 Whom have I in heaven but you?
    And earth has nothing I desire besides you.
26 My flesh and my heart may fail,
    but God is the strength of my heart
    and my portion forever.

Faith? Where does yours lie? Does your faith waiver? Why??

 Good morning all. God is good all the time, all the time God is good.  TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED OR COMPLAIN!!

    Oh, how often do we forget from whence we came.  We came from a male and a female to physical body, but first HE knew us before the womb.  We come from God Almighty.  But so oft we fail to remember and offer the reverence to our LORD and Savior that we should.

  In 1 Samuel 17 a mere boy child took food to his brothers and others when they were camped and fighting the Philistines.  This young shepherd boy came, and then saw what was going on and asked questions.  Here is a young man that is taken back that the ARMY OF GOD is being held at bay by a large, loud mouthed giant -- WHEN--- the Israelites had GOD as their support and back.  

  Why is nothing being done against this giant who hurdles insults and demeans the Israelites?  David's attitude is God is on our side why are you, the soldiers of Israel doing nothing?  David says he will go to meet the giant.  You can read the story, but he does go forth and slays the giant.  A hero through the power of the LIVING GOD!!  A VICTORY FOR GOD'S PEOPLE! 

   Then we travel on down the road to when David is king.  You can read about his ups and downs in getting to the throne, but we are moving on to 2 Samuel 24.  However, just before we move there let us revert back to 2 Samuel 22, this is a song of praise from David to God. Praising God for all HE has done for David and bringing great acclamations to the LORD.  Okay, now we just go to chapter 24.

   David decides to take a census of all the fighting men in Israel sending out Joab and the commanders to take the census.  NOW, let us stop here.  1 Samuel David stands on the power, strength and faith of GOD; 2 Samuel 22 David sings a long song of praise to God for carrying him through.  And now, HE WANTS A CENSUS OF THE FIGHTING MEN IN ISRAEL!  Whoops!!  Where is the faith in God here???

   Where did David's faith wane?  You and I both know where this doubt came from.  David was a man after God's own heart, however, he was not perfect and satan is a great light of deception and doubt.  SOOOOO, doubt crept into David's mind about his defenses, forgetting God is in control of all.

   Taking this census angered the LORD.  God sent Gad, the prophet, to David to tell him this:  “Go and tell David, ‘This is what the Lord says: I am giving you three options. Choose one of them for me to carry out against you.’”

  13 So Gad went to David and said to him, “Shall there come on you three years of famine in your land? Or three months of fleeing from your enemies while they pursue you? Or three days of plague in your land? Now then, think it over and decide how I should answer the one who sent me.”

 So a long story short, David chose the plague and 70 thousand Israelites died.  This brought David back to reality, built an altar to God on the threashing floor of Araunah the Jebusite.

    The point I am trying to make here is in good times and bad times we must constantly put our faith in the Living God, not our own judgment.  When we start to take things into our own hands we open the door for satan to cast doubt darts in our path and we have a tendency to be led astray.

    Keep the faith my friend.  Look up, remember who is in control, even you may question it, GOD IS IN CONTROL.  The world is in a spiral and we have to take refuge in the LORD. Thank you for reading with me today. Love you all.

Do BLACK live matter??? Really? REALLY????

Good morning all. God is good all the time, all the time God is good.   TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!!!

  Well, what a wonderful day to be alive in the LORD Jesus Christ, our saviour.  Today, as I was watching some of my Christian devotionals this came across and I was truly appalled and started looking up the information.

   Do you know who Margaret Sanger Is?  She was the product of a large family of over 10 children and her mother died in her 40's, but dad lived to his 80's.  Her dad did stone images for the Catholic church.  Margaret saw, as a nurse, a young mother who had a difficult 3rd birth and the doctor told her no more children or she could die. A year later this happened and Margaret was there.  This turned her into the activist she became.

  In 1929 she formed the National Committee on Federal Legislation for Birth Control, which served as the focal point of her lobbying efforts to legalize contraception in the United States. From 1952 to 1959, Sanger served as president of the International Planned Parenthood Federation.  Are you beginning to see the picture here. Let us proceed.

  Margaret was a racist, even gave a talk to the women of the KKK.  Now Planned Parenthood will tell us this is not true, however, that is fake news.  The truth is 900 BLACK, yes BLACK AFRICAN AMERICAN babies are killed daily by PPH, yet the Black Live Matter organization could care less.  They are more for themselves than for their population.  Two young black women (in their 20's) just lost their lives through a botched abortion and where is the outrage?  Sanger was evil dressed in a nurses outfit.  Here is a direct quote you can look up for your self.  In a letter to Clarence Gable in 1939, Sanger wrote: "We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members" (Margaret Sanger commenting on the 'Negro Project' in a letter to Gamble, Dec. 10, 1939).

  She also was for the sterilization of the feeble-minded, insane, and syphillitic.     . Here is her quote: "While I personally believe in the sterilization of the feeble-minded, the insane and syphilitic, I have not been able to discover that these measures are more than superficial deterrents when applied to the constantly growing stream of the unfit. They are excellent means of meeting a certain phase of the situation, but I believe in regard to these, as in regard to other eugenic means, that they do not go to the bottom of the matter." ("Birth Control and Racial Betterment," Feb. 1919, The Birth Control Review).

  So, again, my question is:  Do black lives matter?  Not to the BLM, but to us as Christians everywhere we should definitely be concerned as to the LIVES OF EVERYONE!   Evil comes dressed in pretty clothing and smooth talking.  The health of women is a screen for PPH; Woman's Right is a screen for PPH. 

    Church, it is time WE, stood up as Deitrich Bonhoeffer stated in the 30's, and go against the hypocrisy happening in America and around the world.  If the church is silent-----then the church agrees with what is going on.

Are you healed?

 Good morning everyone!  God is good all the time, all the time God is good.  WE ARE BLESSED BECAUSE WE ARE CHILDREN OF THE KING!!!

   Well, most of you do not know, but, I tested positive for covid-19.   Went to doc, have had video conferences, am on meds and getting better.  So often when illness or struggles come drifting out way we tend to forget about God and become self concerned or absorbed.  We, I did this and because my partner, provided to my by God's own hand, has reminded me that GOD is our resource. 

   God is my strength, my healer, my confident, my protector and I must not forget all my sins, griefs, struggles, and illnesses are covered by Jesus sacrifice.

  I am going to insert a link about some healing verses for you to share if you know of anyone who is ill or struggling at this time.  The LINK! 

   Psalm 30: 2 Lord my God, I called to you for help,

    and you healed me.    Psalm 23: 1The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Where are your values? Really???

 Good morning all. God is good all the time, all the time God is good.  TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!!!

  Well, what are your values?  Not talking "church" or the "church building" but talking about your true values.  Where is your fire?  If you look at television you will find so much about the almight "ME".   Jewelry, clothing, food to make you thin, cream to take wrinkles away, exercise equipment so you can be buff, new vehicles because you deserve it, and then you have the other distractors, mainly for men.  Sports, Golf, football, soccer, boxing, ring fighting, and  then we can stroll out to the gaming people.

   Even singles who get on dating sights and cannot wait to see who may have hit on your profile.  Makes you feel good.  All of this makes us feel good; but what does it gain us in the eternal life.  Not one thing in heavens name; however, if we deviate far enough we may be falling into the trap satan or his demons have set for us.  

  Yes, I am guilty.  Choice - Bible and read or study,  OR>>>>>>>OR>>>>>>gaming, sports, shopping, etc.

  The demons know our name, they know who we are, and they love the chance to distract or show you all your sins from the past.  You know, the ones you hid in your closet, the skeleton closet that you don't want anyone to know about.  God knows; Jesus knows; BUT you are forgiven of each of those sins and you and I need to stand firm in the fact that we are children of the King, and have eternal life through the salvation that Jesus offered.  We have to take up the shield of faith and be able to withstand all that satan casts our direction.

Is it ever okay to tell a LIE???

 Good morning all. God is good all the time, all the time God is good.  TOO BLESSED TO COMPLAIN.

   In our society we often talk about a little white lie.  Exactly what does that mean?  A WHITE LIE?  Something that is okay to tell.  I can't come over because I am............ when the real reason is I just don't want to.  Now this is what I would call an out and out lie.  What does Jesus say about lying?  John 8 Jesus tells us that lies come from the devil who is also a murderer.  Soooo, is it okay to tell a lie?????????

   90 years ago a man rose to power and began taking away freedoms, guns, etc. from the people. His name was Adolph Hitler.  He began making all the JEWS wear a star on their clothing so they would be easily recognized.  Many people in the church did not stand up against the church being controlled, even though Detrich Bonhoeffer spoke openly that the church needed to take a stand.

  Well, the church remained meek and obedient to the fuhrer and said nothing.  Slowly the church was relegated to only preaching what the state allowed.  Now God wants us to "render unto Ceasar what is Ceasars" BUT WE MUST NOT GO AGAINST GOD is doing so.

  Bonhoeffer was in on the conspiracy to  assassinate Hitler and he had to "lie" in order to do so.  Also, Bonhoeffer asked his theology students if it was okay to lie.  Most of them said not it was not.  Then he gave the example that if the Nazi's came into your house and you were hiding some Jews--was it okay to LIE and say there were no Jews there?

   No, lying is not permissible UNLESS it is trumped by a higher value -- that of saving innocent lives.  Think about this verse:  Ephesians 5:6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient.

  The churches in Germany were listening to empty words and what happened?  Think about this verse for a moment.  Psalm 36: 3 The words of their mouths are wicked and deceitful; they fail to act wisely or do good.

   So, my final question to you is:  Is it ever okay to lie?  Even if there is a higher value in lying (peoples lives)??

    Bonhoeffer was put in prison and then hung 2 months before WW2 was over for his role in the conspiracy.  Is it time for us, the Christian World, true believers in God and that Jesus Christ came to save our souls, to take a stand and quit letting the squeaky wheel minority dictate our actions, thoughts, and life?  Love to hear from you. Emotionalism or Spiritual??????????

 Good morning all.  God is good all the time, all the time God is good. YOU ARE BLESSED AS A CHILD OF GOD!!  ACT LIKE IT TODAY- SHOW KINDNESS AND CONSIDERATION!

  Well, I am not pointing fingers or saying anything about different preaching styles.  I would like to say that I want to be reverent and obedient to God's will and calling.  Early the last few mornings I have not been sleeping well and turn on the tv to Christian Day Star.  I enjoy the music, the preaching, UNTIL it comes to Rod Parsley who comes on and does his thing and then asks for money.  Last week was an episode about prospering and he only needed 300 people to send in 1,000 dollars and they would see a drastic change in their lives.  BUT, he would send you FREE a prayer cloth so your prayers would be answered.  Sorry, I question if this is emotionalism or real.

   Then comes T.D. Jakes, who yells and stirs his congregation up into a controlled freenzie.  He is yelling, the crowd is yelling and I have to ask myself is this emotionalism? Chaos? Or real?

   For me, it is emotionalism and distracts me from actually worshiping God.  I would like to know your opinion on this.  I am not saying they are false prophets, but I am saying I could not sit under them in a house of worship.

  This makes me think of Matthew 7: 15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

   But, before I cast out judgment I have to remember the beginning of Matthew 7; 1  Judge not, that ye be not judged.2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

   I am not trying to judge, just trying to bring to light that we should worship where we are being fed spiritually with the true word of God.

Where are you ????? SPIRITUALLY??????

 Good morning all.  God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!!

  Well, how goes the COVID-19 isolation?  It is easy to be discouraged and depressed with this COVID going on, BUT, we have to remember that GOD is in control. Yes, I know, it does not seem like it;  It appears that only the governmental powers are in control.

    We have to remember who died for ALL OUR SINS on the cross and that by accepting HIM we will come through this with eternal life.

   When we look around at all the unrest and liberal attitudes it is often difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel.  It is there.  At this time we seem to have several mind sets in our society and around the world.  The two that concern me are the Christian ones.  One, I don't have to be in church and I can go when I want to.  (This is true, however, we are also told not to foresake the gathering of one another.  We can have birthday parties, deer hunts, eat out at restaurants, bars, go shopping or just gather with friends to visit or watch sports, BUT we cannot go to be with other believers or at least watch a preacher on tv and do a Bible study.)

  The other says "I am good" ( popular expression today) and just what does that mean?  It means you really don't care or are not concerned about what you probably NEED to be doing, you are doing what you WANT to be doing.  I am good can be a road straight to hell.

   Here is Psalm 1 that may give you encouragement.  I hope you read it all the way through and may you day be blessed with God at the center. Love you all.

  1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

6 For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Beware America - my day to vent!! Backed by scripture!

 Good morning all. God is good all the time, all the time God is good.  TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!

  Well, today you may question my "too blessed to be stressed"; however, I am really not.  Today, as it appears, the anti-Christian party has won the presidential seat.  You say what do you mean anti-Christian party.

   Let me look at some of the things past and present and then bring forth scripture. Under President Trump the economy grew higher than it has ever been; the embassy in Israel was moved to Jerusalem (as it should have been years ago), under Trump we aligned with Israel, the unemployment rate was the lowest it has ever been under Obama, Bush, Clinton.  The borders became more secure, more minorities were employed and more blacks were employed.  He fought for a conservative Supreme Court and abortion tended to be a major hang up for the democratic party as they want to keep abortion. (Killing 60 millions babies in its reign).

  America was still a democratic republic where people had their freedom.  90 years ago in Germany slowly peoples freedoms were taken away, then their guns, and neither the people nor the Church stood up against the evil that was lurking. WELL.......... America

   The platform that is about to take over in America is not your friend.  First, Socialism where all are equal - this in reality means the HAVES and the Have-Nots!  Black Lives Matter -  if they really mattered then why are more black babies aborted than any other ethnic group, they support this.

   LBGT1Q+ .....God created man and woman for a purpose.  Defund the police - then who is in control (look at Germany 90 years ago - EVIL was in control).  Stop fracking, which Biden said he did not say but is documented numerous times; shut down the oil business.

   Fellow Christians, if you have read this far you must open your minds and see that EVIL is coming to power in America.  If you vote democrat because you have always done this, or if you voted Biden because you hated Trump, you need to take the blinders off and see the real world as it is.  

   As I study and follow people who study the end times many believe the end will be by 2028.  Now that Biden/Harris-- the evil pair supported by evil party members is in power I do believe the end is near.  The Bible warns us to beware of wolves in sheeps clothing.  I will end with these verses from Psalms.  If you have an intelligent rebuttal please do so; I would love to hear from you.

   Evil hearts are excellent at creating confusion and contention.  

  Psalm 5: 8 Lead me, O Lord, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.  Psalm 10: 7 His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.  Psalm 58: 7 His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.  Psalm 109: 2 For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue.3 They compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause.4 For my love they are my adversaries: but I give myself unto prayer.5 And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love. 

     Evil hearts are experts at fooling others with their smooth speeches and flattering words.  Psalm 50: 19 Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.  Psalm 52: 2 The tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.3 Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah.

What is your relationship with Jesus Christ? What are your values as a Christian?

 Good morning all. God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO  BE STRESSED!!!!

   Life is so interesting.  Today, Nov. 3, there will be people doing a last minute push for the candidate of their choice.  What is scary to me is that there are a lot of Christians who do not look at their Christian values, but vote straight party, I don't care if it is democrat or republican, they should vote THEIR VALUES AS A CHRISTIAN!

   10 times more babies have been "murdered" in the name of abortion than Jews that were killed in the holocaust.  6 million Jews were killed, over 60 million babies have been sacrificed since Rowe vs Wade.  Can you live with that?

   Our constitution gives us the right of the 2nd amendment, to bear arms.  90 years ago the arms were taken away from the people in Germany and you know how that turned out.

  Socialism or Communism is supposed to be "for the people", however, look at the countries that went that way.  It is the "haves" and the "have nots", no inbetween.

  And we could go on.  Then, we come to the church and are we truly in a relationship with Jesus Christ?  OR........OR.......are we just doing lip service?

  Oh, yeah, I know Jesus, was baptized, and go to church most Sundays.  And you think this will gain you jewels in your crown and get you to heaven? I would have to say "Heaven--no; Hell-yes".

   Paul tells us in Philippians 3: 2 Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.

   Here Paul is talking about the false doctrine pushers (dogs) who are still pushing for circumcision as part of the means of being saved.   Beware of evil workers--ones who spread false narratives. And beware of the concision.  When God made the covenant with Abraham part of that was the circumcision.  Once Jesus Christ came, this was no longer necessary.  However, some in the new church of Jesus Christ said you still needed to follow this ritual.  When Paul says beware of the concision he is saying this is not of the law, but this is a physical mutalization of the body and is not necessary.

  Paul tells us if we lose everything here on earth but have Jesus Christ as our savior we have gain.  If you have time read Philippians 3 to see what Paul says.

    Just be alert, think logically not emotionally, and do the right thing.  I'll leave you with this.  Heard a tv preacher tell the story of he only had $5000 to his name, ended up giving $3000 to the church (God) and then he was blessed beyond belief and gained more money than the 5k he started with.  Then, he said if you want to be blessed, he only needed 300 people to call in and commit to 1,000 dollars each and they would be blessed.  What do you think?

  Last point, if a carpenter took 47 years at building your house and then asked to have 4 more years would you keep him? Hmm! Points to ponder. Love you all.

Beware false prophets! We are in a spiritual war!

 

Good morning everyone.  God is good all the time, all the time God is good.  TOO BLESSED TO COMPLAIN!!

  Well, this morning I am way West in West Texas to call on a school.  As I was driving and listening to the radio one preacher mentioned that we have to be careful because of "google" and what people put on it.  Not only google, but other social media.

  The "enemy", satan and his demons and people living today who are against God and his disciples (you and me) will post "Bible verses" that are twisted or changed to suit their needs, BUT, are not the true word of God.

   Here are some scriptures to consider.  We are in a spiritual war - not of flesh and blood- but spiritual == A FIGHT FOR YOUR SOUL!!!

   “Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him” (Revelation 12:7-9).

  “‘I am against the prophets who wag their own tongues and yet declare, “The LORD declares.” Indeed, I am against those who prophesy false dreams,’ declares the LORD. ‘They tell them and lead my people astray with their reckless lies, yet I did not send or appoint them’” (Jeremiah 23:31,32).

  I ask you to pray now for the will of God to prevail, first in your (my) life, the life of your family, the elections, and our world.  GOD'S NOT DEAD, HE'S SURELY ALIVE and we need to begin acting like it through our actions as children of GOD.
