Good morning all! It is raining
(much needed here) and the start of a glorious day in the LORD. God is
good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE
STRESSED! Jesu Jevu!
1 Peter 4: 18 And,“If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?”
KJV: 18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
Did your salvation come easy? Maybe saying the words and accepting Jesus came easy, but what about the aftermath? Salvation is all the free gift of Jesus Christ. Yet our salvation is
hard in the sense that the claims of discipleship challenge us and
demand that we cast away our idols and our sins. We are not "barely
(scarcely) saved" in just hanging on; but in the fact that much as Jesus
was tempted by satan, we are tempted by the world. Yet, we have the
enjoyment of knowing that all our sins are pardoned and forgiven. But
what about the ungodly and the sinner?
