Are you wading in shallow water, OR, swimming in deep water? Luke 5:4-11

Good morning all. God is good all the time, all the time God is good.  TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!
Have you ever thought about where you are in your spiritual life, I mean REALLY THOUGHT?
How oft do we do as the song by Matthew West of Going through the motions?  Just playing Christian, not living the Christian life.  This is the people in the shallow water.  Are you in shallow waters?  If you go fishing you don't cast you line out in shallow water and hope to catch a large fish.  You cast your line or your net into deeper waters where the larger fish are.  How does this deal with us as Christians?
When we wade in shallow waters we will not receive the blessings as our faith is shallow.  But when we go to deeper water we will catch larger fish, aka more blessings.  What makes me believe this?
Many people will say I am a Christian and be proud of that fact, but yet they will stay in the shallow waters. Maybe pray when it is convenient, or a quick prayer while driving, eating, or just sitting.  Maybe look at A verse in the Bible and have a "that is good for today" attitude.  This person may not fully leave the old ways, the life of the world, so they are doing the shallow water or surface actions to LOOK like a Christian.
Yes, they may believe, but have shallow faith, never see miracles, never feel the Holy Spirit, never really be "in tune" with God.
If we want blessings from God we need to move to the deep waters, where there are no distractions, move away from the old way and life, the familiar and comfortable.  Then, moving into the deep waters of faith, the deep water of His word, the deep water of His worship, His joy, His voice, His Spirit and the deep water of His heart - this is where the blessings will be found with miracles large enough to break your net.
Let us look at Luke 5: 4-11 When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.”
Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.”
When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break. So they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink.
When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus’ knees and said, “Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!” For he and all his companions were astonished at the catch of fish they had taken, 10 and so were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, Simon’s partners.
Then Jesus said to Simon, “Don’t be afraid; from now on you will fish for people.” 11 So they pulled their boats up on shore, left everything and followed him.
Sooooo, will you put your nets up, move to deeper waters, and let your net be broke with His blessings?  Love you all.
In Christ's Love and Grace
Johnny
