Recognize the chief cornerstone of life

Good morning all. God is good all the time, all the time God is good.
   Well, we take physical food, thrive on spiritual food, but we must remember what was said before and after Jesus about the cornerstone.
   In Psalm 118: 22 The stone the builders rejected
    has become the cornerstone;
23 the Lord has done this,
    and it is marvelous in our eyes.
24 The Lord has done it this very day;
    let us rejoice today and be glad.
 What stone was rejected?  Jesus Christ!!  What is the cornerstone of Christian life? Jesus Christ!   Who created this?  God!   Why? For our salvation- to save us from a sin-filled world.  Sooo?   VERSE 24  "The LORD has done it this very day, let us rejoice today and be glad".
  Isaiah 53:He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain.Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.
      He was despised and rejected.  People were threatened by Jesus and looked down upon Him.
  Now we have to remember that Jesus is not a "DEAD STONE"  but a "LIVING STONE" of which God set in motion.  A dead stone cannot raise itself; however, a praradox, a stone in and of itself can do nothing; however, Jesus being the living stone can do all.  He, Jesus Christ, the Messiah, is the source of our spiritual food and gives us LIFE ETERNAL!
   Please take time to read 1 Peter 3: As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him— you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. For in Scripture it says:
“See, I lay a stone in Zion,
    a chosen and precious cornerstone,
and the one who trusts in him
    will never be put to shame.
Now to you who believe, this stone is precious. But to those who do not believe,
“The stone the builders rejected
    has become the cornerstone,
and,
“A stone that causes people to stumble
    and a rock that makes them fall.
They stumble because they disobey the message—which is also what they were destined for.
  So, are you eating of the spiritual food and trusting in the precious cornerstone?  Love you all.
In Christ's Love and Grace
Johnny
