Hello All. God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED! Jesu Jevu!
Remember, Moses is speaking to Pharaoh what God told him to say.
Let's look at the end of Exodus 11: 8 And all these thy servants shall come down unto me, and bow down themselves unto me, saying, Get thee out, and all the people that follow thee: and after that I will go out. And he went out from Pharaoh in a great anger.
9 And the Lord said unto Moses, Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you; that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt. To me, this is important. the LORD tells Moses that Pharaoh will not listen and why? So that "my" (God's) wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.
Remember, the Egyptians have many gods and goddess'. Goddess of light, of trees, and on and on. God is going to be glorified. Notice, too, Moses left Pharaoh in great anger.
10 And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh: and the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go out of his land. Last chance for the hard head, aka Pharaoh. Now remember, the Israelites have been in slavery about 430 years. So if they are released - uh - who will do the work? Yep, Pharaoh's heart was hardened, but God's plan has not finished yet.
Tune in for Exodus 12. More fun and adventure. Love you all.
Soli Deo Gloria
Johnny
