Pride and arrogance brings about death - Ezekiel 28: 6-10

Good morning all. God is good all the time, all the time God is good.  TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!  Jesu Jevu!
Remember yesterday the scripture ended in verse 5 with "your heart has grown proud" and we'll pick up at verse 6 today.  Pride is leaping forth here and let's see what God says:

“‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says:
“‘Because you think you are wise,
    as wise as a god,
I am going to bring foreigners against you,
    the most ruthless of nations;
they will draw their swords against your beauty and wisdom
    and pierce your shining splendor.
They will bring you down to the pit,
and you will die a violent death
in the heart of the seas.
Will you then say, “I am a god,”
in the presence of those who kill you?
You will be but a mortal, not a god,
in the hands of those who slay you.
10 You will die the death of the uncircumcised
    at the hands of foreigners.
I have spoken, declares the Sovereign Lord.’”
Now, this is pretty clear- talking to the king of Tyre or satan saying you think you are a god.  Then God will bring foreigners against you, and they will be ruthless. Ruthless - what does that mean? This means having NO PITY on anyone; synonyms -  heartless, merciless, cruel, and many more.
They will draw swords and pierce his beauty; meaning all beauty and splendor will be stripped away.  Plus, he will die a violent death in what??? A pit, in the heart of the seas.
Then the question comes: will he say I am a god when they come to kill him, knowing now that he is mortal?  Do you think the ones coming to kill him will bow down because he says he is a god, or scoff at his futile claims?

In KJV it states: He shall die the deaths of the uncircumcised, of those that are strangers to God and not in covenant with him, and therefore die under his wrath and curse.Notice, deaths is plural. It is deaths, a double death, temporal (body) and eternal (soul)., He shall die the second death; that is dying miserably indeed.
Tomorrow we will look at what is assumed and depicted as how Lucifer was seen in heaven.  Love you all. Stay close to God, stay in prayer and the word.
Soli Deo Gloria
Johnny
