1 Peter 1:24-25 We are as grass in the fields

^{Good morning all. God is good all the time, all the time God is good.  TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!  Jesu Jevu!}

    ^{Yesterdays word was meant to encourage you and to think about where you stand as a Christian.  If you did not get this from the printed text I do apologize. Today we are back to Peter 1:       24} For,  “All people are like grass,and all their glory is like the flowers of the field;
the grass withers and the flowers fall,      ²⁵     but the word of the Lord endures forever.”    And this is the word that was preached to you.

   ^{This is certainly clear enough for us all to understand.  All people, whether great or lowly, will physically die.  However, God's word will go on forever and ever. This is also found in Isaiah 40: .
6} The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field:
⁷ The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the Lord bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass.
⁸ The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.
   Your physical body, my physical body will die; our spirit will go on forever if we follow God's word.  If we accept his word as from the true living God, accept Jesus Christ as our LORD and Saviour, then our spirit will live on forever and ever.  Amen!  Love you all.
