Good morning all. God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED! Jesu Jevu!
1 Peter 2:9-10
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy
nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him
who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.
Okay, God chosen people were the Jews, the Israelite's. They were
chosen for roayal priesthood, to be a holy nation, to be His (God's) own
people. However, the people of the Old Testament did not totally
follow God, and because of this, Jesus was sent. To whom was he sent?
Jesus was sent to "us" the gentiles and Jews alike to be chosen of God.
For this we become part of the royal priesthod, a holy nation, God's
own special people. We once walked with satan (darkness) and because of
Jesus we now walk in the light. Jesus said, , ‘I am the
light of the world’ (John 8:12). Before we "saw the light" or accepted
Jesus and experienced re-birth we were not God's people. That is you
and that is me, and anyone else who does not accept Jesus as the
Messiah. But, through the blood of Jesus we are now God's people and
have obtained mercy, again through the blood of Jesus Christ.
Go tell someone about Jesus today. If you don't what could happen?
Nothing, except, if they don't know Jesus they are destined to hell.
But, if you do tell them, they have a change to experience something
wonderful and are destined to a retirement that is out of this world.
