Good morning all. God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED! Jesu Jevu!
1 Peter 2: 16 As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.
17 Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.
Peter is telling us we are FREE, FREE IN CHRIST, HOWEVER, we must not, repeat - must not use this freedom to do as we wish.
We are under the master, we represent the master, and our actions and
speech should reflect the master, who is GOD! We cannot cover up wrong
doings because we are free in Christ - we must represent Jesus Christ in
a Holy and respectable way.
Being free in Christ, - we wil honour all men - we will show respect,
show kindness and love to our brothers and sisters in Christ; AS WELL AS
those who are not in the brotherhood of Christ. Fearing God does not
mean we tremble, knees knocking as if we had seen the handwriting on the
wall as the king in Daniel did. Fearing God is a most reverent way.
With respect, desiring to do what is right, sharing what Jesus left us
with to spread throughout the nations. God is our Father, our Lord, our
Saviour, our King - and we are just in showing Him great honour by
representing His name in a Holy way. Love you all.
