1 Peter 2: 21-25

Good morning all. God is good all the time, all the time God is good.  TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!  Jesu Jevu!
 
²¹ For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
  Christ was our example and suffered for YOU. YOU should follow and be an example to others as Christ was to you.
²² Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
  Jesus Christ was sinless, he was not cunning or deceitful or manipulative. He was without sin and honest.
²³ Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:
   When he was cursed, spat upon, called names during his suffering HE did not retaliate but stayed true to self being the honest God-man and gave up himself to "him that judgeth righteously" meaning gave himself up to GOD!!!! This is the example Jesus set for us and we are to set for others and follow ourselves.
²⁴ Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
   Jesus took our sins, was whipped, beaten, ridicules and put on the tree (cross to us) to cover our sins.  And why?

²⁵ For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
  Because we were going the way of sin and needed a redeemer so we could come to God and live eternally.  A great message from God's word. Love you all.
