Do you have friends such as Job? Job 2:11-13

Good morning dear friends.  God is good all the time, all the time God is good.  YES, YOU ARE BLESSED!!  YOU ARE A CHILD OF GOD!!!!
How oft do we experience troubles, yet there may be at least one of your friends who will be uplifting and encouraging.  So often we accentuate the negative. Ex: a basketball player makes a bad pass and the ball goes out of bounds.  SOooo, the coach yells -- you threw the ball out of bounds. Uh, Duh, the player knows this. How about reassuring by saying that is okay, it is over, you will be okay just play ball.
Hmmm!  Yes it does work.  When I had my best teams while coaching high school girls basketball was when I was encouraging rather than discouraging.  Well, Job's friend begin this way.  They were in anguish because he was and sat with him a week before they spoke.  Ohhh  man, wouldn't this be nice today?
Here is Job 2: 11 When Job’s three friends, Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhiteand Zophar the Naamathite, heard about all the troubles that had come upon him, they set out from their homes and met together by agreement to go and sympathize with him and comfort him. 12 When they saw him from a distance, they could hardly recognize him; they began to weep aloud, and they tore their robes and sprinkled dust on their heads. 13 Then they sat on the ground with him for seven days and seven nights. No one said a word to him, because they saw how great his suffering was.
These men, Eliphaz, Bildad, and Zophar, could see Job's torment and wept aloud with him.  When was the last time you wept with a friend, saying nothing, just being there.  Yes, the three began and great friends but hang around for the rest of the story.
Thanks for reading.  Be a friend to someone today, weep with them, and say nothing--just be there for them.  Love you all.
In Christ's Love and Grace
