If you look at Hebrews 4: 12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
What does this say to you? God's word is alive and active. God IS NOT DEAD!!! If you look backward at verse 11 in Hebrews 4, it tells us that if we fail to fall into God's rest (grace, salvation) then we are headed toward disobedience.
We know what God says in HIS Holy Word, but do we follow it. It penetrates, this is not surface, but deep. Dividing soul and spirit? What is the difference? Soul is about our earthly appearance, our earthly existence. The world is uncertain, changing, and our soul will change so as to be in tune with earthly/worldly things. Our spirit is in tune with God and of the heavenly realms. My soul deals with my senses and emotions; our soul is never at rest; always in turmoil-great or small.
Whereas our spirit is to be made alive so that God can speak to us; we should live for Him and for the heavenly things. God knows YOU, your THOUGHTS and ATTITUDES!
I ask you now, where are you today? No, it cannot wait! You know neither the time nor place when Jesus will return or you will be called home. NOW, --- NOW is the time to give it all to God.
You may have hurt, sorrow, disappointment, depression, or anything else that may keep you down; IT IS TIME TO GIVE IT ALL TO GOD! You cannot do it alone. If you try, your earthly soul will wallow and not get up; let your SPIRIT take you to a higher realm.
I ask prayers for all, from our President to the lowest person on earth, that all will accept Christ and begin a life of spirit, not of soul. Love you all.
