Whom do you serve? Obtain your blessings!

Good morning all. God is good all the time, all the time God is good.  BE BLESSED TODAY!!  Walk with humble authority for you are a child of God.

  It seems that our very liberal and anti-Christian Hollywood enjoys taking shots at conservatives and Christians.  The different platforms they use, whether motion picture, Emmy's, Academy, or Golden Globe, this seems to be a  place news media loves to report on with the belief that we all want to know about this.

   Quite frankly my heroes are the people in the military, the people around me, the everyday Joe or Sally; NOT the stars.  Stars in the eyes of the media tends to be Hollywood or professional sports.  They entertain, get paid way too much, and we, YOU and I are there employers.  If we did not go, they would have no employment. Hmmm?  To whom do you worship?

   Last night in the Golden Globe awards Christian Bale gave thanks to satan.  Now, with this we can become angry, mad, and revengeful, OR, we can remember that God is in control.

  1 Thessalonians 5:15 See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone.

  Leviticus 19:18 You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.

  Jesus tells us in Matthew 5:38-39 “You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ But I say to you, Do not resist the one who is evil. But if anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.

  Jesus is not saying be a melba milk-toast, but to turn the other way.  To "turn the other cheek" does not imply pacifism, nor does it mean we place ourselves or others in mortal danger.  Jesus is speaking here of the principle of non-retaliation to affronts against our own dignity.

1 Peter 3:9 Do not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, bless, for to this you were called, that you may obtain a blessing.

  We must pray for Christian Bale and let God do HIS thing.  Our prayers for Christian Bale should be that he will realize the errors of his ways, accept Jesus Christ as his saviour, and ask forgiveness of his sins.   This is what we should be praying daily for our leaders, the famous, the not famous, pray they all accept Jesus Christ.  Let us make it an epidemic.  All riots, epidemics, gatherings begin with 1 (one), may that one be you.  Thanks for listening to my point of concern today.
